This album came floating from between heaven and the earth… It will take your mind to higher grounds with this eclectic set of deep, electronic and eclectic house, trance, techno and perhaps even lounge music. It’s not just a compilation but enriched with glitch, or in common terms; IDM which means Intelligent Dance Music which is the new era with vast possibilities of micro-resampling samples in different forms enriching the brain.. Freaking Wildchild was not convinced IDM should be used in DnB and minimalistic but got the glitch also included in deep trance, techno and other forms of deep electronic music created in his studio.
So, why version 2? Because version 1 never came out. It got only served as preview (v1.3) but never got released on physical media because of natural mayhem causing them to be stuck on broken machinery. Think version 1 as a gem which will be dug out when the time is ripe and when the equipment got fixed…

Mentally Challenged - seriexl.com -- serie (For your review!)
Mentally challenged is a mix of brainmatter, experimental experience and IDM live play. If you don’t know what IDM is, you should check out the article “IDM stands for Intelligent Dance Music“. It’s a small album of three songs which were not included on the IDMix.us version yet.
DirtIDM : You’ve got to listen for yourself before you can really define this style. It’s relaxing and energetic at the same time. It’s pure IDM, that’s for sure!
DirtIDM has an audio-visual production called IDMovie
DirtIDM Calypso Remix has also it’s own audio-visual presentation at YouTube
The solo version is available as the SoloTramix at SoundCloud
Depressed: It’s a state which I’ve been confronted with lately, it defines what can be going on in a head; where IDM is a very nice starting point for a ADHD’r!
Mental Distortion: Do I got to say more?
The video is the Calypso remix of DirtIDM!

Oh noes! IDM is not an acronym for a super secret government agency, disease or drugs! Or, maybe it is one or another kind of brian drug; just like playing cards, games, reading and listening music are brain drugs too! IDM is the acronym for Intelligent Dance Music; in short, the new rage curring up samples, repeats, distortions and glitches in the music. A style emerged in the early nineties which was described as electro, electronica and ambient techno. It gets you not only moving by your feet but also with your brain!
Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode, Leftfield, Aphex Twin and many more are known for their creations with glitches and sample-juggling to add colour to their productions. It makes music sound much more and detailed than it actually is.
Software VST plugins are currently the rage, a few examples:
CD-skipping glitches could be done by using a magic marker on a CD, recording that defected ceedee. IDM glitches can best be done manually, by searching the best possible sweet-spots for the wanted IDM effect.
I’ve not found any good “true” hardware IDM device yet, with exception of the out-of-production Frostwave Sonic Alienator, Geiger Counter, the SP-555 with loop sampling functions and the MachineDrum which is quite expensive but also a super-sequencer.
I’d like to introduce you to a new conceptial “mix”, created solely by studio hardware including but not limited to Sequencers, Samplers, Synthesizers, MIDI keyboards and controllers, recording equipment and more. The list to create these materials are published underhere. The mix contains a heavy blend of Techno, Trance, Deep & Dark trance, Lounge and Electro. It’s all new, fresh and ready to move you till eternal skies …
There are no computers involved with this mix, no turntables or cd-players; only real time audio sequenced with studio hardware!
More previews will be released on this page as we speak. The concept is very simple; whichever I can create in the studio, I can create at any place, with the same materials. I’m ready to go live; as soon as I’ll find myself a good portable way for my studio materials.
The materials used for this “mix”:
Sequencer: MC-808
Synthesizer: Sonic Cell, Electribe MX
Samplers: SP-555, Akai S-3000XL & S2000
Effects: KaossPad 3, Virtualizer PRO
Recording: Ultramatch PRO SRC2496, Masterlink ML-9600, Perception 200
MIDI: A-880, Kontrol49, Bitstream 3X
Patching: PX-3000,
Mixing: Mackie VL-6, MX-882
Neighbour-annoyances: KRK RP5, RP10
IDM: dblue Glitch (ok, cheated here for the IDM )
Enjoy!

If you wanna know,
you want to think right back,
Just to remember a name,
It would be something like that…
I’ll for sure remember that kindness,
Famous for that pure hospitality,
teached a lot the history of music,
The life of now … All that slick! *’ya know?*
known for them cocktails,
wanted for his music,
So desired for business,
His eternal smile was his success!
*Uhu .. Yea .. Hell Yeah…. Troy … *
Troyboy, Not just a name like any others,
Cared about his friends and all around that bothers,
Had a dog almost as big as he was, go wonders…
I’ll miss those cute drinks, not even with parasols,
That smile, all that jazz, Left with just a memory,
A shame, that blazing fast gone and away from reality …
That guy … Troyboy!
